On 20 October 2013, Vardan Petrosyan , famous French-Armenian singer and comedian , known for his career in France in the company of Robert Hossein , went to Yerevan was the victim of a road accident that left two people dead and five wounded . 21.10.2013 The criminal investigation is based on Article 242, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Vardan Petrosyan himself very seriously injured , was taken to hospital Yeghvard at first , and then transferred to Yerevan Erebuni hospital where he will undergo the removal of the spleen and liver surgery . He remained in a coma for three days and remained in intensive care for two weeks . He will undergo a second surgery to remove a liter of blood from his lungs , cause tachycardia. The investigator in charge of the accident will repeatedly ask about the circumstances of the accident , even though he is still in intensive care, unable to answer him.
November 4, 2013 Vardan Petrosyan barely out of the coma is sent home .
On November 6 , the investigator has to stop at home, but Vardan Petrosyan was again admitted to the emergency Erebuni hospital for breathing difficulties and voltage drop. The same day , after examination, he was transferred to Mental Stress Rehabilitation Center of Yerevan , under judicial control .
09/11/2013 The Vardan Petrosyan despite his serious health condition, is removed from the hospital to be presented in court, while his lawyer was there to represent , it is led by police ambulance to court without a warrant or charge. The hearing was held in camera . 5 Heads of accusations were raised against all fell defense investigator who himself acknowledged the failure of its foundation charges. Although it presaged the release , after a deliberation of 4 hours 30 minutes , a verdict of just four lines fell : the judge refused to release Vardan even bail and ordered his detention for two months by " the code of moral values " (sic!) . This is the only argument found by the judge. Although the law provides otherwise , the reading of the verdict was held in camera. The judge confiscated his French passport. It is directly taken by ambulance to the prison in Yerevan , where medical facilities are precarious hospital. There is always located since November 9, without proper care . It is still anemia and depression with total loss of coherence due to severe respiratory and cardiac problems untreated for 9 days.
The procedure for the preventive detention is full of humiliation and mental torture farce.
